Titan Fall
Beta closing today and had some fun games last night.

Anyone wanting to pre-order but not with the $60 price tag, here's the best deal I found (so far): $48

If anyone finds any better, please post.

RE: Titan Fall
Titanfall is a first person shooter where you play both traditionally (on foot with two weapons) and in a mech called a Titan. The on-foot movement is pretty cool with double-jumps, wall running, and wall jumping. The titan is a mech you call from the sky once it becomes available to you (by either a timer or by awarded merits that reduce this timer).

The game itself is typically 6v6, with the only game modes thus far being a 3-point capture and hold, team deathmatch, and "Last Titan Standing" - a 6v6 team deathmatch where you all start in titans and only have one life.

I'm sure if you head over to youtube you can see plenty of gameplay vids, but here's one guy playing it (he's really good though so don't be intimidated by his run-and-gun abilities)

RE: Titan Fall
I played a little bit and had a good time. It's not nearly as deep as Tribes and not a replacement but I can see it being fun in short amounts. Conflicted about shelling out $60 for it though. On second thought there is a chance I'll get it free at work but it may be the xbone version booooo

Found this novel idea:

You can get this game for $37 straight from EA.
Like any origin game, you can spoof your location to mexico to get a discount. They sell their games cheaper in "poorer" countries.
Step 1 - Get a VPN service. Tons of free ones, use google.
Step 2 - Use a Proxy located in Mexico
Step 3 - Get the game in your cart.
Step 4 - Disconnect from VPN and proxy to enter you payment information.
Step 5 - Enjoy your $37 copy of Titanfall, and virtually any other game on origin This has worked for years.

RE: Titan Fall
I wish I had time to check that out maybe I will soon. I started playing dark souls and got hooked on that now and with tribes I better not spread myself to thin. I watched hairytikiman streaming tho and it looks like a blast though.
